Teachers : Hands-on practice session on Simulise, taught by Joris Nelissen (DNS Tilburg)

Simulise is designed for portfolio (lifelong) learning. In this respect a one-week project meeting is way too short. However, we will be using the workshops as test assignments. Our purpose is to learn how rubrics can help teachers and students to reflect on and get a better understanding of the student's 21st-century learning skills.

Workshop: "Microplastics: the invisible threat"

"We love nature. We want a good future. But are we really creating an environment in which life is safe? Everyone has heard about microplastics. Those small particles around us which are becoming the new threat of silence. Information is the first step to make decisions about our consumption to avoid contributing to the increase of the amount of plastic in our oceans. We should try to do something significant to reduce this problem!!"
